arrangements with clients/partners. The Venture Technology approach is preferable
when the client wants a long-term technical foundation for an idea or "concept"
that they are turning into a reality or a business process they are improving upon.
An equity partnership agreement typically involves:
- The software development organization assumes the costs (partial or all) to develop
a web solution with a business partner
- The business partner agrees to offer an equity position in the business venture
in return for this development investment
